Olympiapark
Munich, DE
To ensure that the Olympiapark continues to inspire future generations as a center for sports, culture, and recreation, it requires a state-of-the-art infrastructure, efficient operations, and the highest level of user safety. Through tailored technical planning and sustainable solutions, we are helping to prepare this iconic Munich landmark for the future.

The Olympiapark in Munich is an architectural landmark recognized far beyond the city limits. Originally built for the 1972 Olympic Games, it now serves as a vibrant hub for sports, culture, and recreation – a popular destination for both residents and visitors. The park is home to several iconic structures: the Olympic Stadium, with its spectacular tensile roof – a milestone in engineering history; the Olympic Hall, a venue for concerts, sporting events, and other major functions; and the Olympic Tower, a proud city landmark offering breathtaking views over Munich.
Preserving the Olympiapark as an urban symbol requires holistic concepts that go beyond maintaining existing infrastructure. These must ensure long-term safety, user comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability. With our integrated technical systems approach, we cover every aspect of technical planning in-house and deliver tailored, forward-looking, and sustainable solutions.
Since 2012, we have been commissioned with the following refurbishment projects in the Olympiapark:
Olympic Hall
As part of the modernization of the Olympic Hall, we renewed the majority of the technical systems during ongoing operations – tailored to the hall’s specific requirements and use profile. Measures included replacing the ventilation systems, upgrading power supply and safety-related systems, installing a voice alarm and fire detection system, updating sprinkler and smoke extraction systems, constructing a new control booth, and equipping the lighting bridge with modern event lighting.
Olympic Stadium
In the refurbishment of the Olympic Stadium, we brought the building services and fire protection systems up to the latest standards. The modernization of mechanical systems ensures efficient and smooth operation while maximizing comfort and safety for all users.
Olympic Tower
Built for the 1972 Olympic Summer Games, the Olympic Tower rises 291 meters and serves as a television transmission site, observation deck, and location of a revolving restaurant. As part of the ongoing refurbishment, we are modernizing technical systems, surfaces, and interior fixtures. This includes upgrading the central technical systems, kitchen equipment, and implementing enhanced safety measures – particularly in the areas of fire protection and structural stability. Once completed, the tower will meet the latest technical and safety standards.
